"Primary hyperhidrosis is the condition characterized by abnormally increased perspiration, in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature. Some patients afflicted with the condition experience a certain degree of reduction in their quality of life, depending on how severe their condition is. Sufferers feel at a loss of control because perspiration takes place independent of temperature and emotional state."

If you suffer from excessive sweating and blood pressure has never crossed your mind, you should visit a doctor immediately. Of course, if you are sweating profusely, there should be some obvious answer. If you are doing any sort of exercise when you sweat, it could be that you just need to switch deodorants. Also, if you’re around people you don’t know, or you feel nervous for any reason, your excessive sweating may be due to anxiety. If there are no obvious reasons for your sweating, on the other hand, then it definitely could be related to your blood pressure and that shouldn’t be ignored.

 Get Checked

If you think your excessive sweating and your blood pressure are related, you should see a doctor immediately. There are many tests for blood pressure and your doctor will determine which one is appropriate for you. Give your doctor any information that could be pertinent to your excessive sweating and high blood pressure problems. Are you, for instance, taking any sort of sports supplements such as energy pills or anything of that sort? These types of items can raise your blood pressure and excessive sweating could become worse whenever using them. Tell your doctor anything that you are taking at the time, any activities you may be involved in, and also how you find yourself feeling whenever you’re sweating a lot.

 Could Be Nothing

It should be noted that excessive sweating and blood pressure are not necessarily related. It could be nothing. You could just be one of those people who have overactive sweat glands. Your doctor, of course, should be the one to determine this. But the important thing to think about is that you shouldn’t panic until your doctor has made a proper prognosis. If you find out that your excessive sweating and blood pressure are related, your doctor will then work to treat your condition. There are medications and other treatments that are available to help you with high blood pressure and excessive sweating. Your diet may have to change, as well, and your doctor will likely tell you to restrict your diet in some way, or at least go and visit a dietician. By excluding fats and salts from your diet, for example, high blood pressure and excessive sweating can be taken care of fairly quickly. Just make sure you listen to your doctor and never try to diagnose any illness or disease by yourself.
